Plagiarism Policy
Journal of Morgensonne Multidisciplinary Research (JMMR) upholds a strict policy against plagiarism in any form. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying text, ideas, images, or data from another source without proper citation.
- Submitting someone else’s work as one's own (including self-plagiarism).
- Paraphrasing substantial portions of another work without acknowledgement.
- Falsifying authorship or misrepresenting contributions.
Plagiarism Detection
All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection tools (such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or equivalent software) before the peer review process.
Manuscripts with similarity index >20% will be returned to authors for revision or rejected outright depending on the severity.
Manuscripts with minor similarity issues (10–20%) may be conditionally accepted after proper revision and citation corrections.
Plagiarism in published articles may lead to retraction, notification to the author's institution, and a ban on future submissions.
Author Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their work and must ensure that:
- All sources are properly cited.
- All contributors are acknowledged.
- The manuscript has not been submitted or published elsewhere.
Editorial Action
In case of detected plagiarism, the editorial board will:
- Notify the corresponding author.
- Provide an opportunity to respond or clarify.
- Decide on correction, rejection, or retraction depending on the case.
